South Beach Cafe, Devon Cliffs, Exmouth

Image
During our May Bank Holiday break at Devon Cliffs, Sandy Bay, Exmouth we paid another visit to the South Beach Cafe. Last year in 2023 I had the Seafood Chowder which is one of the tastiest meals I’ve ever had. Returning in 2024 I obviously had to have this again, and once more it didn’t disappoint! The menu is quite heavy on the fish/seafood side but being right next to the sea it’s a great choice of meals. Drinks are also good, a nice selection of Devon based beers and ales and a varied selection of wines and spirits. Pricing is not bad for certain dishes, a meal including starters and 2 rounds of drinks was just over £60, so at around £20 each for 2 courses and drinks is good value.  We sat outside at the end of May 2024, and it was very comfortable with a light breeze and lots of sunshine. I highly recommend a trip to South Beach Cafe, Exmouth. If you have small children the menu is varied too with lots of choices.  4.8 out of 5.
